Butcher and the Farmer is a seasonal, produce-driven casual dining restaurant. We will be hosting workshops and educational programs that will showcase our suppliers, producers' and their products; and working within our local community to promote healthy and sustainable eating.

As part of our team you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service within a restaurant environment. You will be supported by a group of dedicated people who have proven experience in growing, nurturing and developing its people.

Daily Barista staff tasks include:

  • Opening & closing routines
  • Maintaining a clean and functional environment
  • Maintaining beverage stock levels
  • Handling of cash & use of POS system
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with guests and provide knowledgeable recommendations
  • Coffee making

All applicants should have the following:

  • A passion for people and providing unforgettable guest experiences
  • A current valid RSA
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
  • A willingness to undergo further training and development
  • Flexible availability over a 7 day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Must be available to work weekend mornings
