JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for experienced Food Services Assistants to work in our kitchens at Kingston Centre, Residential Care facilities and Moorabbin Hospital as part of our casual workforce. These areas include the;



  • Central Production Kitchen

  • Finishing Kitchen

  • Chestnut Gardens

Monash Health Bureau (MHB) is a busy workforce unit that allocates over 450 shifts per day across Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Monash Childrens, Kingston Centre and our Central Production Kitchen. We allocate experienced nursing and midwifery, clinical support and non clinical Support Services to meet the demands of a multi specialised and fast growing organisation.


About The Role


As a Food Services Assistant you have the opportunity to work within the different areas of our Central Production and Finishing Kitchens at Monash Health. You will play an integral role in providing a quality service in food preparation and delivery to all areas of Monash Health and contracted organisations. You will have the ability to maintain a high level of communication with patients, visitors and colleagues when delivery meals.


As an integral part of the organisation you will be the face of the casual workforce and consistently demonstrate our core values. You will be part of our flexible Casual Workforce and receive personalised support.


About You


You are an experienced Food Services Assistant with a strong focus on customer service who is able to commit to working flexible hours across seven days per week. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of service to all patients. You are an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles


What you need:



  • Proven relevant cleaning and food service experience

  • Relevant working visa if applicable

  • Relevant qualifications as required ie. Food Safety, Certificate 111 in Health Services Assistance
