BOH Supervisor / Manager - Craigieburn

Ribs & Burgers prides itself in serving gourmet burgers and succulent ribs which are cooked to perfection each and every time for our customers to enjoy. Our Restaurants have a unique style that evokes the history of the classic "butcher shop". The casual dining experience is driven by an open style kitchen, emphasizing the theatre of food preparation by our highly skilled kitchen team.

The Role:

Ribs & Burgers Craigieburn are searching for experienced BOH Supervisors / Managers who are motivated and passionate about cooking our range of quality products including; grass fed, hormone free, 100% natural beef patties, free range chicken breasts and tasty marinated ribs.

Your duties may include:

  • Ensure completion of all food preparation, set up and pack down of the kitchen
  • Coordinate and maintain the quality of food and presentation of all meals
  • Conduct kitchen quality control measures including stock management, daily checklists and cleaning rosters
  • Effective management & training of BOH staff
  • Assisting with rosters & other administration duties as required by management
  • Ensure company compliance of all OH&S/WH&S requirements including kitchen cleanliness and staff/customer safety

Do you have?:

  • Previous Kitchen Management/Supervisory experience
  • Previous grilling experience (char-grill preferred)
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced environment with high pressure
  • Produce quality product with exceptional presentation
  • Effectively manage time and prioritise tasks and understand sequence of service
  • Have excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Be reliable and have flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends
