JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide efficient and effective delivery of food services to support the daily operation of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital; under the supervision of Retail Food Services Supervisors and the Retail Operations Coordinator.

About The Role

  • Barista duties including the taking and processing of coffee orders in a high-volume environment whilst upholding quality and consistency, machine maintenance and ensuring cleanliness of work area.
  • Preparation and serving of food items for sale.
  • Provide exceptionally high level of customer focused service at all service points and at all times throughout all internal Retail outlets
  • Use of Point of Sale System to take orders, appropriately capture sales, accept payment (cash and EFTPOS) and provide change and refunds (as required).
  • Ability to work in a busy environment, either as an individual or as part of a team, with an ability to prioritise tasks and manage time autonomously
  • Demonstrate a willingness to assist across outlets to cover breaks and leave as required by Supervisor.
  • Perform duties in accordance with relevant duty statements whilst adhering to relevant food safety standards and procedures.
  • Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
