Peppers Galleryprovides boutique style accommodation for both leisure and corporate travellers. The heritage listed building is nestledin the popularculturalprecinctof New Acton and offers individual charmand professional hotel service.

We are looking for a guest service superstar with a talent for training others to step into the Assistant Managerrole.

Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager you will drive guest service initiatives empowering the Front Office team to go the extra mile for our guests creating memorable experiences that foster loyalty.

You will lead and mentor the Front Office team, ensuring a smooth and seamless service experience for our guests and you will thrive on contributing to the bigger picture through your ability to think on your feet to quickly resolve issues.

As Assistant Manager at Peppers Gallery Hotel, your tasks and responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to the following:

Assist in leading the Front Office Team to deliver an incomparable service experience
Handle guest queries and complaints efficientlywhilst providing operational support and supervision on shift
Always uphold a positive, can-do energy pertaining to guest and workplace challenges
Provide a structured and consistent onboarding and training experience for Front Office team members
Ensure the Front Office team provides prompt and efficient service whilst also maximising occupancy levels and up-selling the property
Coordinate and manage the day to day operations of the hotel whilst leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience
Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times
Maintain team focus on guest engagement, individualising and personalising service, encouraging the team to use initiative
Responsibility for the health, safety and security of all patrons, guests and staff members.

What we are looking for:
A person who is looking to take that next step towards a managerial position
A driven problem solver with a creative approach to delivering the ultimate 5-star guest experience
The ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and think on your feet to resolve issues & guest complaints is essential
Demonstrated leadership experience
Outstanding time management skills with proven experience managing multiple priorities
Outcome driven approach to deliver increased performance and results
A genuine passion for service evidenced in your ability to exceed guest expectations
A contagious energy, drive and positive attitude motivating those around you to perform to the best of their ability
Knowledge of Sihot PMS (or similar) is highly advantageous
Ability to work a flexible rotating 7-day 24hourroster
