Establishing the first Drive-Thru Bottle Shop and Smorgasbord in Australia plus an ordering system for food service and launching night time music in venues, the Matthews family have been innovators since the Group was established by Seymour and Doris Matthews during World War II.

Having operated many iconic South Australian venues under the Matthews banner since the 1940's, with some 36 licenses and free holds, Matthews Hospitality now own and operate 9 venues, consisting of four Hotels in Adelaide, one Hotel in Whyalla, three Hotels and a B&B in Mount Gambier.

About the Role ...

Matthews Hospitality Group is seeking applicants for a casual office banking and administration services role.

To excel in this role, applicants would preferably have experience in the Hospitality Industry. Must be reliable and honest with exceptional administration and cash handling skills with the ability to multi task, problem solve and manage time effectively.

This role is required to be performed across multiple venues with the potential to gain more hours in other Departments for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include:
daily banking
data entry
balancing and reconciling of all Venue Departments including bars, bottle shop, gaming ,TAB and Keno
monitor and report any till discrepancies and errors in their daily report to Head Office

About You ...

You are a flexible and organised Administration professional with previous clerical and banking experience.

You have a sound knowledge of Microsoft applications including Windows 10 and Excel.

A current police clearance, reliable motor vehicle and drivers license are essential.
