This is a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic, and highly motivated hospitality professional to join and lead our Sydney office. You will inspire and mentor a team ensuring all recruitment processes are fulfilled with ease and compliance.

About the position:

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sydney Temp desk operation. This will include temporary recruitment activities and business management of the overall Sydney office and its profitability.

Lead and motivate a team with the placement of casual staff into hotels, venues, events, boardrooms, restaurants and more. This is a hands-on position for someone who naturally enjoys mentoring a small close team of staffing/recruitment coordinators while maintaining the Pinnacle People brand.

This high volume and precision based role commands an energised manager who is IT savvy and has extensive administration experience as well as the ability to lead by example, juggling competing priorities and be quality and results driven. You will manage the database of the staffing pool including skill sets, experience and compliance to ensure all needs of every client are met, while maintaining and building rapport with new and existing clients.

The ideal candidate:

  • You genuinely care about people; confident in building and maintaining long standing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience as a senior level within the hospitality industry
  • Highly developed understanding of the broader hospitality industry, market trends and expectations.
  • Leads by example and demonstrates a hands-on and proactive approach whilst supporting the team.
