We are seeking for an enthusiastic qualified Baker to join our dynamic team for our Wollongong branch area.This would be best for an individuals who are willing to join our supportive team and gain more experiences in sweet making.


  • Permanent part time position
  • 28-30 hours per week required

The Baker will need to report to the Store Manager, Head Pastry Chef or Supervisor and will be responsible individually for food handling in Kurtosh section including
  • Baking variety of goods and to ensure the par level of stock are their during trading hours.
  • Maintaining daily temperature, wastage and baking records.
  • Doing stock rotation, monitoring stock ingredients at all time.
  • Responsible on stock ordering and delivery according to food safety.
  • Rolling Kurtosh by order
  • Following hygiene and food safety when dealing with food.
  • Fulfilling to customers order request.
  • Following the standards consistency and present the products to highest level.
  • Reading recipes and following the methods when making products.
  • Operating machines according to standard operational procedures.
  • Could maintain cleanliness for baking section to the highest standard.

The job will be part time position, with hours to be worked between 9am/10am-3:30 pm or 3:30 pm until 11 pm. Days of work will vary depending on the needs but most likely weekend will be needed for work.

To Be Considered For Your Position You Must Have
  • Australian Qualifications Certificate in food safety.
  • 6 months to One year experience required
  • Very passionate in working and creating products.
  • Have experience working in fast paced environment.
  • Has a strong communication to work within the team.
  • Could work individually during scheduled shift.
  • Available to work during weekdays, weekends and flexible to work during public holidays.
  • Have a full working rights in Australia.
  • In excellent understanding of Work Health and Safety and adhering while working.
  • Have good personality and willing to work hard.
  • Multi-tasker with relevant baking experiences.
  • Could work under pressure to achieve tasks according to timely manner.
