We are seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our team of attendants to deliver excellent cleanliness and service to our deserving guests.

About The Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping attendants, including tasks associated with rostering, recruitment, performance management and engagement.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to housekeeping staff on the standard housekeeping procedures, including quality, productivity and safety standards 
  • Create and maintain a high level of engagement in the department
  • Create and maintain a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Monitor costs of housekeeping-related expenditure, and manage these in line with budgets
  • Manage staff rosters in alignment with the occupancy levels of the hotel
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and cleanliness standards 
  • Participate in a flexible 7 day roster covering day/night/weekend shifts including public holidays

About You:

  • You have experience leading housekeeping or cleaning teams to deliver results
  • You are across your numbers: Payroll %, Minutes per Occupied Room, Inventory Management (linen, amenities)
  • You will have an eye for detail and be driven to continuously improve your output (quality and efficiency)
  • You're are team player and a leader with great communication and interpersonal skills
  • You keep a cool head under pressure to get the job done
  • You thrive in an active and at times physically demanding role that will burn plenty of calories and keep you in shape!
  • Are motivated to deliver guest satisfaction through the quality of your work.
