Lancemore Milawa in beautiful North East Victoria is looking for friendly, experienced and well presented team members who will fit into our culture of delivering outstanding customer service. Currently we are looking for a casual position working up to five days a week depending on the demands of the business.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Officer to join the

Lancemore Milawa team at our 40 room boutique venue.

The successful applicant will work with the hotel's team, coordinate maintenance works with the outsourced companies as required but take a hands on approach to preserving the buildings and assets to ensure the Hotel is in perfect shape for our customers. The successful applicant will have the support of the hotel's General Manager to help them achieve success. 

A great job for a candidate looking for 2 - 3 days a week

with good handyman and painting experience.

  • Demonstrable history of achievement in the following areas:

    • Positive and optimistic attitude – "we can do anything" approach
    • Experience with fixing day to day things – lights, taps, paint etc
    • Logical approach to problem solving
    • Ability to understand what the customer sees – and ensure our property is always kept to the highest standard
    • Works clean and is highly organised
    • Ability to work with teams, and communicate clearly and in time
    • Knowledge of a trade beneficial
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice highly regarded
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ideally they will have experience or intimacy with hotels
    • Ideally they will have experience or passion for understanding of hotel guests

    Last, but certainly not least, they should be a great person to work with
