Our Operations Manager role is responsible for the facilitation of all on-site operations, soft and hard services across 3 Shopping Centres in Western Sydney. It works to deliver, develop and implement onsite Operations Management procedures, process and performance measures, coordinating all aspects of building management, essential services, proactively working with all stakeholders.

In addition, you will ensure the safe working environment, presentation and comfort of tenants, JLL staff, suppliers and visitors in a manner which promotes the brand of JLL in the marketplace.

What This Job Involves

The duties of this fast paced role include-

  • Contractor Management – day to day proactive management of all PPM and Adhoc services providers
  • Performance monitoring of all contractors, meeting monthly, and delivery and review on their monthly KPIs, ensuring conformity of the contracts are being met
  • Sustainability, delivery of utility initiatives to drive down Variable Outgoings, whilst ensuring current systems used on site are driving and delivering utility goals and KPIs set annually under the IPMP
  • Development of risk management and compliance plan
  • Deliver all financial outcomes for operation and capital budgets, forecasting and delivery with focus on recoveries and strategic management across all cost areas
  • Strong understanding of financial impacts, including key drivers.
  • Lead and Drive the delivery of the operations property Business Plan process, monthly reporting
  • Identify cost efficiencies across the centres and provide feedback to the Centre Manager and JLL National Operations Manager
  • Responsible for ensuring JLL reporting and management systems are updated and reported on monthly or as requested

You enjoy building team relationships & have a strong customer service focus. You’ll adopt a hands-on approach to problem solving, have the ability to juggle multiple tasks and can be relied upon to work autonomously. Your time management and technical skills are second to none.

It is preferred that you have 7+ years’ experience in property operations including exposure to new product analysis, statutory reporting and strong financial skills to effectively manage budgets and competing demands on finances.
