RAC Parks & Resorts has a range of properties at some of Western Australia’s most beautiful locations. With caravan and camping sites, to hotel style rooms, self-contained cabins and resort facilities, there are accommodation types to suit all travellers. We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager at our RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort.
The Role
This is a full time role leading our Housekeeping team responsible for 100 hotel style rooms, 12 self contained villas, 12 dorm style rooms (76 beds) 114 site caravan park and public areas of the resort and amenities. The resort also has an onsite laundry.
The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible driving effective leadership to ensure the Housekeeping team members are engaged, enabled and empowered to deliver RAC members and guests with excellent standards of housekeeping and ensuring they are effectively maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities
Managing the Housekeeping team to ensure the implementation of effective systems and operational procedures including daily checklists are actioned
Planning of daily room requirements and conducting pre-arrival checks
Drive rooms and public areas guest satisfaction across the resort to provide service beyond guest expectations
Work with the Resort Management team to implement improvements and initiatives
Working with suppliers to meet the needs the housekeeping function
Proactively manage guest feedback for continuous improvement on customer service
Managing costs and wage costings within budgetary requirements
Recruit, train and develop team members
Ensure Health and Safety compliance.

The Location
Monkey Mia is located in the beautiful Shark Bay World Heritage Area, alongside the picturesque Francois Peron National Park. The Resort is one of the leading remote resorts in the country which caters for up to 1200 guests.
