Located in an absolute waterfront position at picturesque Keppel Bay Marina is the Waterline Restaurant.

 The Waterline Restaurant has a reputation as the local market leader for producing high quality regional produce driven dishes with an extensive wine and craft beer selection.

 This role will see you work closely with the restaurant manager and executive chef to uphold our philosophy and to lead and mentor our evening service team.

 This is a TEAM LEADER role, working day to day alongside the section waiters to train, mentor and build skills and knowledge on the job while delivering an exceptional customer service experience.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES 

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, responsible for a la carte table service and bar service in arestaurant or customer service establishment.
• Excellent product knowledge and service skills including wine, beer, cocktails, coffee and food.
• Excellent interpersonal and hands on leadership qualities, which will contribute to successful teamwork and staff development.
• Understanding and appreciation of the requirements of maintaining high quality standards in service delivery and customer service.
• Sound understanding of and demonstrated track record of financial accountability in a similar role.
• As a team we value humility in the workplace; being open to other's opinions, tending to the needs of others (customers, team mates, colleagues), admitting mistakes (and learning from them).

 GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

• Supervision of the Evening Service at the Restaurant
• Cocktail menu design and execution
• Wine Sales and Wine knowledge Training

• Delivery of exceptional customer service
• Daily cash reconciliation accuracy and reporting
• Coaches and mentors FOH team for continual improvement and excellence in all areas
• Leads by example in adhering to policies and direction from Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef
• Proactively identifies, and resolves problems and issues as they arise
