Job description

We are looking for a Canteen Manager for Friday nights (approx 4.30-9.30pm) and Saturdays (approx 8am-1pm) March - September to run the canteen during the winter soccer season. Availability for extra events and occasions would be desirable.

The job includes basic food preparation, ordering of stock, some basic shopping, overseeing volunteers who help in the Canteen, maintaining the kitchen to acceptable standards (cleaning, organisation, monitoring fridges, etc). Must have the ability to work independently and make decisions.

Experience in a similar role is desired. Must have a current Food Handling Certificate and RSA. Experience using a coffee machine would be desirable.

Start ASAP.

Part-time hours: 10-12 per week

Salary: $25.34 per hour
