Opportunities has arisen for Motel Management couples both in a full-time and a relief management role to assist in the day to day operations of our organisation motels and B&B's located on the Limestone Coast of SA.
Ideally (but not essential) you will have previous motel management and/or industry experience. You will have strong work ethics, perform well under pressure, have outstanding customer service and administrative skills and be able to lead a team of staff.
We will look favourably on candidates with the following attributes

- Strong computer knowledge and an understanding of software based systems
- Social media and website management
- Knowledge on channel management systems would be an advantage
- You will have a current RSA -Responsible service of alcohol and will be required to have a Responsible Person badge
- The ability to troubleshoot and solve customer related problems.
- Take ownership of the role.
- You will also have marketing experience.
- The position is for a management team of two people.
Managers duties and responsibilities include:

To work closely with management staff but be responsible for the daily operations and performance of the business.
- Oversee the professional operation of the motel reception and licensed restaurant, this is a "hands-on" role (including weekends, public holidays, after hour check-ins as required).
- Attend to reception duties and customer enquiries including telephone, email and social media.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, staff, suppliers and industry contacts.
- Ensure the motel rooms, restaurant and grounds are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
- Staff rostering and co-ordination (up to 20)
- Stock ordering and inventory control.
- Solve technical issues
- Achieve budget targets and monitoring of staff, as well as undertaking performance management if necessary.
- Plan, direct and co-ordinate maintenance.
- Deal with contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and other statutory regulations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
