CELLAR DOOR HOST AND WINE CLUB ASSISTANT
Full Time Position. Immediate Start.

Situated in the Victorian High Country region of King Valley, Chrismont's award-winning cellar door and restaurant is a popular tourism destination for fine wine and food lovers alike.

A fantastic opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic person to join its team in a full-time role to assist with its Cellar Door and Wine Club operations.

Offering an immediate start, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing friendly, tailored and knowledgeable service to guests visiting the cellar door

• Elevate the customer’s tasting experience to educate and stimulate sales

• Maintaining a high level of presentation of the tasting experience area

• Provide administrative support to the Wine Club Manager

• Assist with growth and future development strategies of both the Cellar Door and Wine Club

• Be an Ambassador of Chrismont with its tourism visitors and Wine Club members

Administrative and/or cellar door experience is preferred but not a requirement, as training will be provided. A passion and interest for the wine industry, however, is a must.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Excellent communication skills and a bubbly personality

• Be well presented

• Mature outlook and ability to maintain a professional demeanour

• Be customer orientated - always going above and beyond

• Be highly self-motivated with a strong initiative and work ethic

• Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to multi-task

• Computer literacy and competency in MS office

• Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA), or be willing to obtain one

• Drivers licence and reliable transport

Reporting to the business owners, you will be employed on a full-time, 38-hour-week, basis and must be flexible to work a rotating roster, including some weekends and special events. We are also offering an immediate start.
