We are a family of 5 running a farm 30km from Mungindi growing cotton, grains and cattle. Mungindi is a social and friendly town located on the Queensland/New South Wales border.
We are looking for a motivated flexible person look after 3 young children aged 6, 4 and 2 years. The role will also include general household duties. The 6 and 4 year old attend school during the week so it would be mostly looking after the 2 year old. Our 2 year old child is developmentally delayed therefore the ideal applicant would have love for children with experience in childcare health or the applicant may have studied in the area of allied health eg. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy.

They would also need to be well mannered, friendly, warm, reliable and responsible, who will work as a spare pair of hands. Au Pair duties include but not limited to: playing with children/child-minding, preparing and/or cooking meals, washing clothes and house cleaning/tidying, school drop-offs.
It is important that you take pride in what you do, and show good initiative. Our children mean the world to us, and we want to make sure they are well looked after, and in safe hands.

On the days you are not required to help with aupairing, there would be the opportunity to help on the farm completing general farm duties. Previous farm experience is not necessary

We are looking for someone to become a part of our family and embrace rural life. We have had Aupairs previously, and they have had happy and positive experiences.
The role is full time 5-6 days a week.
Required to start immediately.
English skills must be of a high standard.
Own bedroom and bathroom provided
Days worked as a Farmhand can go toward 2nd year visa.
Some weekend work will be required.
Must have current driver's license.
