$49,369 to $51,427 per annum

Period of Employment

Permanent and fixed term, full time roles working 76 hours per fortnight.

The work patterns include:

• Day work, not working weekends, but working public holidays
• Shift work (fully rotational)

Please note that part time hours may be considered.

Please also note that this process may be used to fill fixed term casual opportunities as they arise.

Duties

Assist with food preparation, production, plating service, warewashing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to patients, visitors and staff of the hospital.

Essential Requirements

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

a) Crimes of Violence

b) Sex Related Offences

c) Serious Drug Offences

d) Crimes involving dishonesty

2. Identification check

3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check

Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
