JOB DESCRIPTION
Working on a large facility in Darwin. We are seeking experienced Food and Bev Supervisors for a Feb start.
Your new company
An opportunity exists for suitably qualified candidates with demonstrated experience in the Hospitality and Catering sectors to deliver services in line with our contract requirements
Your new role
Management of hospitality & catering staff including bar
Coordinate dining room delivery
Liaise daily with Food & Beverage Manager / Coordinator and Head Chefs
Produce rosters and manage staff for Hospitality and Catering support to Defence
Ensure Food Safety Plan is adhered too
Banking of public monies, including all recording and reporting
Ensuring that all areas of the mess precinct are maintained in a clean and presentable condition
Train and support staff to ensure that the provision of customer service is delivered at the highest possible level at all times.
Ensure staff grooming and presentation is at a high level and correct uniforms are worn at all times
Ensure accurate capture of all relevant statistics and correct and timely use of the Mess Manager Pack
Multi-skilled in all aspects of hospitality and customer service delivery
What you'll need to succeed
You must be an Australian Citizen and be able to obtain a police clearance
Hold a current Responsible Servicing of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
First Aid Certificate
Hold a current Drivers Licence
Previous experience in similar supervisory position
Ability to lead and motivate staff under minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to deliver and drive customer service excellence
