Situated in the heart of Alice Springs, our holiday apartments offer 57 self contained units for holiday accommodation. We are seeking a casual staff member to join our busy team.

The role involves approximately 20-25 hours per week working in Reception and Housekeeping on Grade 2 Hospitality hourly rate. Ideally the role would be extended to include the night auditor role 5 nights per week (Mon-Fri 5pm-8.30pm) in lieu of accommodation on site.

The successful candidate will have experience working in hospitality and tourism industry and some knowledge of automated booking systems (Starfleet would be an advantage).

You will need to have excellent English and communication skills, be well presented, able to problem solve, work well under pressure, work both independently and as a team member and present in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate will possess a friendly and welcoming attitude,have the ability to effectively communicate with visitors from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, corporate travellers' and holiday makers and be committed to providing outstanding service at all times.

From time to time the role may involve additional hours to cover managers leave requirements.

The successful applicant who wishes to include the night auditor component will be provided with a studio apartment on site rent free in recognition of undertaking night auditor duties. These duties involve answering after hours calls from guests, late check ins, locking gates and assisting with any guest maintenance issues. (accommodation is suitable for an individual and is not pet friendly).
