New year - new career! We are looking for an apprentice to join the Vincentia Craft Butchery & Providores Team
We are seeking individuals with interest or experience in hospitality and craft butchering. New or currently working apprentices are welcome to apply.
If you are interested:
- A seasonal slow food movement
- A range of food areas including vege & produce, grains, organic teas, spices, deli & charcuterie, meat & plant-based products.
- Paddock to Plate, sourcing regional produce
- Liaising directly with the artisan producers and farmers.
Then you could be a perfect fit for our close-knit team!
Skills Required:
- ability to engage with customers
- a passion for locally sourced produce and artisan products and an interest in charcuterie, cooking and sustainable nose to tail consumption.
We will provide comprehensive skills training in all areas of retail butchery
Desirable (but not essential):
- knowledge and/skills in cutting/slicing/prepping meat; slicing cheeses & charcuterie and using larger scale kitchen equipment.
