JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of quality, service and cleanliness.
- Maintain and display a high level of product knowledge including food and beverage items, promotional activities and restaurant services.
- Assist customers with menu selections according to individual needs including dietary requirements, religious requirements etc
- Solicit guest feedback to understand the needs and wants of customers.
- Follow policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security.
- Assist in any areas of the restaurant when staffing constraints require.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
Skills required to be considered for this position:
- Self-discipline, initiative and outgoing.
- Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
- Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems. Complete workplace tasks within operational timelines.
- Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff and guests. Including people from different social and cultural backgrounds and language abilities.
- Respond to customer complaints in a friendly and professional manner and make every effort for a positive outcome and refer the matter to management
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

- Rotating roster
Experience:
- waitress: 1 year (Preferred)
- barista: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Eligibility:
- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
Work Remotely:
- No
