We at Agnew IRM are seeking qualified and experienced Cooks to work full-time at a well-established theme park at Queensland’s Sunshine Coast owned and operated by our client.

We are seeking candidates who are available to work days/nights and weekends and who can work effectively within a team to produce high quality dishes.

POSITION DUTIES

We are seeking candidates who possess the skills to perform the following duties:

Using various cutting tools, cookware and bakeware and different cooking procedures and methods to prepare and cook to a high standard all restaurant menu dishes, as well as dishes that meet the special dietary needs of patrons.

Portioning, arranging and garnishing all menu items to a high degree of presentation prior to service.

Receiving and storing perishable kitchen supplies and non-perishable kitchen supplies and equipment as required.

Ensuring that organisation policies, procedures and standards in relation to food quality, kitchen hygiene, workplace health and safety, and customer service are strictly adhered to.

Attending and actively participating at staff meetings and briefings.

Directly assisting other Senior and Junior Kitchen staff as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications; experience; and abilities:

Minimum relevant AQF Certificate III qualification essential.

Minimum 5 years of employment experience in busy commercial kitchens essential.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work well in a team

Ability to manage time and work well under pressure.

POSITION SALARY

$60,000 per annum + super
