WESTS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP Are seeking to employ a supervisor to work between our three venues in Tamworth. Duties will include: Overall Job Purpose: - To oversee the operations of the bar,cellar,gaming,reception and catering departments of the venues
- Responsible for the efficient, courteous service of beverage,food and gaming within the venues
- To provide knowledge and details of all active promotions to other team and to be aware of all upcoming major events to disseminate information to others
- To attend weekly meetings of all supervisors and managers, in preparation for upcoming weeks functions and promotions.
Duties & Responsibilities: - The club supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of staff during their shifts
- The duties encompass customer service and the supervision of member and patron behavior
- Relief of floor staff for meal breaks
- Replacement rostering for staff where necessary
- Supervision of tills and cash handling
- Responsibility and accountability for the operation of a safe from which all monies are allotted to bars, catering, reception, gaming TAB and Keno.
- Responsibility for locking and securing the club premises
- Ensuring all function areas of the club are prepared for the arrival of patrons for seminars, meetings, weddings etc at the commencement of the shift.
- Responsible for the delegation of staff to areas to ensure a clean, safe, professional image of the venue
Essential - Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. A minimum of three years customer relations experience, with progressive supervisory experience.
- Must be familiar with and able to operate computers, printers, multi-line telephones, digital cameras and microphones
- Must be able to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
- Proficient in all areas bar, cellar, gaming, TAB/Keno and reception duties with a proven background
