The opportunity

The Mt Gravatt Aquatic & Fitness Centre on the Griffith University Mt Gravatt Campus is seeking a suitably qualified Head Swim Coach professional to take the lead in managing our Swim Squad Programs in a casual staff capacity. Key responsibilities will include developing and delivering all components of the Mt Gravatt Aquatic & Fitness Centre squad programs, increasing participation and engagement, developing and maintaining working relationships with all squad members, families, potential customers and all relevant stakeholders whilst upholding a high level of customer service at all times. This opportunity will see you work within a team focused on delivering a service that achieves the vision, mission and goals of the organisation.

About you

The successful applicant will be reliable, flexible and customer focused. Will have experience managing and executing high quality swimming programs to a diverse range of participants both youth and adult age groups. Current Coaching qualifications and extensive experience are required, and pool lifeguard qualifications is advantageous. You will display the values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence and responsibility.

Salary range

Casual hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.


Must have flexibility to work on mornings and evenings across the week including availability to work on weekends
