ABOUT THE POSITION:-

Waterworld Aquatic Centre is seeking a highly motivated, team orientated and experienced Customer Service Team Leader. You will manage all aspects of customer service including front of house membership, sales and function enquiries, and a busy café.

ABOUT YOU:-

You will be experienced in setting and monitoring KPIs to ensure your team are efficient, achieve set targets and meet the community's expectations.

You will be self-motivated, have a high attention to detail and have experience with working with Point of Sale systems.

Your role will also assist with the Duty Management responsibilities of the Centre including pool lifeguarding, pool water quality testing and monitoring and pool plant room activities. If not already held, we will support you in your commitment to obtain lifeguard, pool plant and water testing qualifications.

This position operates on a seven day roster including weekend, early morning and evening work and reports directly to the Facility Manager Waterworld Aquatic Centre.

As a Customer Service Team Leader you will:-

  • Lead, coach and develop your team
  • Have exceptional communication, team work and customer service skills
  • Proven track record in Process Improvement, Decision Making, Managing Process Change and Achieving Targets
  • Improve and maintain high levels of productivity & efficiency
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Participate as a Duty Manager of the Centre as required
  • Build relationships with after sales, and field service representatives
  • Ensure Café operations meet all health guidelines and standards
  • Manage a Point of Sale area and ensure cash management policies are adhered
  • Processing of accounts receivable invoices in accordance with Council's guidelines
  • Responsible for regular stock control and reordering of merchandise for the retail/cafe area
  • Primary point of contact for customers - both internal and external

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:-

  • Current Applied First Aid Certificate
  • Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current DHS Working With Children Check (previously known as DCSI Child Related Employment Screening).

ON OFFER:-

  • $78,116- $83,317 per annum + 9.5% super
  • Full time - Two year fixed term contract
