Description This NSW Aboriginal Health Service has an opportunity for a General Practitioner to join thier established Aboriginal and multicultural, refurbished modern practice. They are offering flexible working arrangements with the choice to work up to 5 days per week, no on call or hospital rounds. This is an exciting opportunity for a GP who is seeking a high-quality lifestyle with increased flexibility by having the chance to choose part-time or full-time work within a relaxing rural setting. As a member of our team you will have the ongoing support of the following staff:

  • Aboriginal Health Workers
  • Registered Nurses
  • Two GP's (1 full-time & 1 part-time)
  • Dietician
  • Practice Manager
  • Visiting Dietitian, Podiatrist, Psychologist, Optometrist, Kids Physio, Renal Medicine and a Women's Health Clinic
  • Telehealth with Psychiatrist and Endocrinologist
Should you be interested there may also be VMO related opportunities with the local hospital. The Service as a member of the NSW Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council has access to a wide range of support and assistance in relation to Aboriginal primary health care. The clinic is situated in Central Western NSW on the Lachlan River, the Surgery is located within walking distance of the Hospital and the picturesque Lake, it provides good quality primary and secondary schooling (with both Public and Catholic Education facilities).
